The Association of Boaters in Polynesia (AVP) is an association of boating enthusiasts including residents and visitors.

Its purpose is to;

• improve the public profile of the sailing community in French Polynesia
• protect the interests of sailors and defend their rights towards the authorities and decision makers in French Polynesia-
• Remind sailors of their responsibilities by making accessible all information regarding regulations and good practices for the sailing community in French Polynesia, in particular with regards to the protection of the environment.-
• Provide practical information on anchorages, facilities and suppliers in order to facilitate the stay of transient and resident sailors.
