Moorings
Moorings can hold a vessel with a maximum boat length of `6.7 meters (55 ft) except moorings in St. Mary’s Cove under Spa Creek Bridge, where the maximum boat length is 10.6 meters. (35 ft).
Spa Creek has plenty of mooring buoys (white with a blue ring). Once you have found an available mooring, call the Harbor Master on VHF Channel 17 (or telephone) and they will take payment. In high season there is a patrol boat that comes to take payment.
In season there is a water taxi (call on VHF Channel 68). Dinghies (maximum 5.1 meters/17 ft) may be docked at Kunte Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial Park at the foot of Main Street. There are security cameras in the Harbour Master's office that look out onto the entrance to Kunte Kinte alley. Public toilets below this office.

The anchoring area in Back Creek may be restricted in future as applications by various marinas to prevent anchoring in their vicinity are being considered.
