Stayed in Puerto Noray for 2 nights mid of September 2018 with our Outremer 51 (a 15,7m long Catamaran). Paid 16 €uro/night plus 4 € for water and electricity (flat). Filled up our Diesel tanks as well. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Marvellous city, a Must to visit in my opinion!
Our berth was alongside on the quay of the other side, opposing the gas station and capitaneria. Easy mooring but unfortunately unsafe. In the 1st night around 01:00 in the morning I woke up because an unwanted visitor (a young thieve, obviously North African) started to empty our lockers in the cockpit (my fault that I had not protected/closed them with padlocks). A 2nd guy was standing at the quay obviously having a lookout.
The 2nd night (now everything was inside the boat or secured otherwise) we have again unwanted visitors. Must have been the same guy, at least his shoe-prints where the same.
Also, the music from the nearby outdoor discotheque was extremely loud, they played every night till about 03:00 in the morning from Thursday to Friday and till about 05:00 from Friday to Saturday.

We continued our trip then from Melilla to Al Hoceima (Morocco)

Harbour is divided into Spanish for the north part and Moroccan for the south part, which is called Nador.
Marina would like to be called on channel 9 before entering. Charges are around 10 Euro a night for the 13m vessel, showers and toilet are excellent.

If you need stocking up on groceries, there are big supermarkets, ie Eroski, Lidl etc, with excellent choice and prices. Fresh veg and fruit best bought just across the border in Morocco. Fuel is Euro 0.53 a litre. The town is delightful if you can come to grips with the fact that two 5m high fences with motion sensors are delineating the border with Morocco.

I can really recommend Puerto Norway marina. Cameras everywhere, helpful staff and very cheap. I stored my Moody 35 there for 8 months and the cost was about €1.200. Only a few boats from abroad but I think people don,t realize that it is safe.

Geographically in Africa but still in Spain. Almerimar marina 1200M from Melilla has double prices – and Almerimar is one of the cheapest in the Mediterranean.
