Ria De Cedeira - Docking

Aug 08, 2017

The best anchorage is 500m east of the fishing port but takes care, the holding can be uncertain due to weed. Keep clear of the numerous small boat moorings. The anchorage is a good size and offers excellent shelter.

It is possible to land alongside the old quay for re-fuelling (1.5-2m). This is also a convenient dinghy landing and the Red Cross post here shows weather information and has a water tap. It's a 10-minute walk into town from here.

There were plans to build a larger marina at the old quay, however, 7 years on no construction has started.
