La Herradura - Docking

Jun 01, 2016

There is a sheltered anchorage off the beach at 36° 43.56'N, 03° 44.26'W, although it is exposed to the south.

The marina entrance faces north, but in strong easterlies, the swell does penetrate and affect some berths. The entrance is also very narrow, so when there is a swell it can be quite difficult getting in here.

On arrival, go to the waiting pontoon at the fuel berth (see photo courtesy of SY Blue Moon). The marina office is also situated here.

This is a quiet place with limited facilities.
