YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Anchoring is not permitted anywhere within the harbour.
There are two marinas here, adjoining each other both rights on the town quay and only a few minutes walk into the centre of town.
The photo on the left shows Yacht Port Cartagena on the left and the Municipal Marina on the right.
Yacht Port Cartagena is the newer of the two and is home to mainly foreign flagged boats. The older more established marina run by the yacht club is filled mainly with local craft and has few vacant slips.
It is possible to stay there on jetties with pick-up lines but depending on boat size most likely on the town wall - however everyone promenades past here and there is no security.
Note also that there is no breakwater protecting the marina from the wash and surge. There is traffic from the nearby container terminal, day and night, and also from fishing boats, tugboats and even the Navy. Boats bounce up and down a lot here, so prepare for chafe on your mooring lines.
The Club Nautico is a fisherman's club with no berths (but an excellent tapas bar!).

Security
Thefts of personal belongings (such as bicycles) and an attempt to break into a yacht have been reported by cruisers from Yacht Port Cartagena. Break in at Real Club de Regatas Cartagena (RCRC) more recently. If leaving your yacht be aware which marinas offer better security and be sure to secure your belongings and yacht.
