All the facilities at this marina are reported to be first class, especially the toilet/shower facilities. Free Wifi internet covers all pontoons, mooring lines are excellent, there is a good fuel station, free swimming pool, free parking etc. Even the pricing is very reasonable.
However, this marina does suffer from the bad swell. Whilst the marina is open to the West, cruisers have reported suffering from 0.5m of swell inside the marina even with winds from the E/NE (18-20 knots).
It is therefore only advisable to visit here in settled conditions.

Made a reservation by phone the day before arrival at Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel de Águila.
Arrived and was waived off because they were full.
