Andraitx (Mallorca) - Docking

May 02, 2016

This is an excellent natural harbour that of course, gets very busy in the summer months.

Note: No anchoring is permitted in the outer harbour in order to preserve the Poseidon Grass there. The only anchorage is outside the breakwater.

The Club de Vela offers a few berths and has some mooring buoys. You will be met by William who is friendly and charming and likes to use his excellent English. Costs are much lower than those in the Marina. During the summer it's advisable to book these mooring buoys 24hrs in advance (see details below).

Also, space might be found on the town quay or on the pontoon opposite (see comment at bottom of page). There are water and electricity available on the quay.

Be aware, though, that a severe south-westerly gale, which can occur in the Autumn, can cause a lot of damage to boats here, even to those in the marina.

Other Ports Nearby

Santa Ponça is a pretty little harbour just south-east of Andraitx.

Port Adriano is a super-yacht marina on the southern coast of the town of Santa Ponca.
