The marina here is new and located in Kainon, a 15 minute train ride from downtown Wakayama.
The manager (Ms. Tomoko Koura) is reported to be extremely helpful. On arrival, berth at the fuel dock and visit the Harbour office, then move to the visitor's pontoon.
The marina is part of a large tourist complex - Wakayama Marina City - and has hotels, restaurants, bathhouses, local products markets and shops. The closest supermarket is in Kainon.
