This small village lies about 30NM east of Bodrum on the northern coast of the Gulf of Gokova. It is easily identified by the tall chimney of the power station.

Parts of Gökova Bay are now closed off. Okluk Bay-Değirmen Bükü – English Harbour area – inside the Bay will be closed. During the past summer the Bay was closed a few times for a short time. But as of now, Okluk Bay-Değirmen Bükü area will be closed for sailing all the time.
