Description:
This is a quieter, less crowded port than some others along the Andalucian coast. There are good beaches close by and impressive mountain scenery. The port is still home to a working fishing fleet and daily catches are landed here.
It lies about 20nm NNE of Gibraltar.

Entrance is silted though master claims deepen the channel every summer. Maximum water is 2.7 meter at high tide
Belongs to Group Maritim Mediterranean and is privately held. Call channel CH09. Driving the time a bit difficult, especially with swell as in the harbour entrance a very narrow channel buoy is designed with green and red fairway buoys, about 7m wide. An excavator will resolve the problem until late June. 16m berth for boat € 71, – including water and electricity.
