Anchoring:
It is possible to anchor out in front of the marina in a reasonably sheltered anchorage with good holding.
Melaka Marina:
The marina is located on the north bank of the river by the "Eye on Malaysia". Staff will move boats if they need to find a space for you. It is mostly used for tourist sport fishing. People and security are reported to be friendly and eager to help.
Cruisers who visited in September 2022 reported 2.7m at high tide at the marina entrance and 1.2m at low water inside the marina. The Marina has 24 hour security, electricity and water. Fuel available in 40 litre canisters.
