Raivavae - Docking
Anchoring:
Anchoring in Raivavae lagoon is now limited to vessels under 20m. Vessels larger than 20m must anchor in front of the village of Rairua and the length of stay is limited to no more than 72 hours.
Boats less than 6 meters, will continue to be allowed to anchor in other locations in the lagoon for a maximum of 24 hours. When anchoring, vessels must take all measures to avoid destroying, altering or degrading the corals or protected plant species in the lagoon.
The holding in the anchorage is good in 10m over mud.
