Puerto Colon - Docking

Oct 25, 2018

Entrance:

Puerto Colon is very active, being the base of several day excursion boats and also many local yachts, so there is rarely any space for visitors. The marina should not be entered without prior arrangement as even the reception dock, which also doubles as a fuel dock, is often occupied. On arrival, the captain should visit the port captain's office located in the Control Tower (+34 922 714211) on the starboard side of the marina entrance. In an emergency come alongside the fuel dock on the starboard side of the entrance.

Anchorages:

Spaghetti Bay - about 3.2 kms ( two miles) NW of Puerto Colon with a white sand beach in the southern part and good anchoring in the sand to 8m. Closer inshore there are rocks and the northern area of the bay has large submerged boulders.

El Pris - Lying just NW of spaghetti bay this small bay has a good anchorage at its entrance in sand and rock to 6m.
