Entrance:
The port is busy with excursion boats and with the remaining space largely being taken up by local boats on their own moorings, it is best avoided by yachts.
There are no yachting facilities but the main road running through the huge holiday resort of Puerto del Carmen has many supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants.
Anchorage:
In settled weather, it is possible to anchor just outside the breakwater and take the dinghy inside if wishing to visit the resort.

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.
