On approach keep a sharp lookout, for scattered rocks, bombies and shifting sand bars. Head for the conspicuous Batelco tower and anchor off the village in 2m sand and grass - good holding and all-around shelter.
A large dredging project has just been completed here and an apron constructed at the government dock for the fast ferry/Island Link.
It is possible to berth at the Government dock for customs and shopping etc.
Frigates Restaurant has a large dinghy dock and offers happy hours, free wifi and a wide-ranging menu.
