Coopers Town (Abaco) - Clearance

Jan 23, 2020

Review main Bahamas Clearance information.

Customs and Immigration has been relocated to China Harbor, just north of Cooperstown, as the New Plymouth Customs office was destroyed by Hurricane Dorian.

This harbor is shown in the Explorer Chartbook.

Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays.

Yachts arriving to assist in the recovery efforts clear in here as the port is well versed in managing duty-free imports of relief goods.

The harbor entrance is wide and deep. On entering, tie up on the wall and officials can be found in the office. Clearance here is reported to be very easy.
