St. Francis Bay - Clearance

No vessel may enter or leave the Harbour during working hours without the Port Captain's permission. All vessels must be equipped with a two-way radio (VHF) in working condition.

Permission can be obtained by calling on:

1. VHF Channel 10

2. Telephone: 042 294 0191/0925

3. In case of emergency only (NSRI 042 294 0131)

After hours the skipper must ensure that a competent shore skipper is in attendance to ensure that conditions can be assessed and are favorable for the vessel to enter. Traffic in and around the harbor must be informed of your intention to enter or exit the Harbour.
