Explore: Port Alfred
General Info
Description:
Port Alfred lies half way between East London and Port Elizabeth and has been developed into a Marina of “Port Grimaud” style.
Position:
33° 36’12″S, 26° 54’19″E (harbour entrance).
Docking
Unfortunately, the entry has silted up badly. It is now a dangerous on-shore approach with unreliable 1.6m depth and only 40 ft wide. Local sailors advise anyone to only use Port Alfred in absolutely settled weather and ideally with local knowledge.

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.
