YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Mossel Bay is now a fully-fledged official Port of Entry for South Africa.
See South Africa Formalities for full details on clearing into and out of South Africa. Remember, before setting sail for South Africa you must register with the Ocean Sailing Association of Southern Africa (OSASA). Full details in Formalities.
The Port is operated by Transnet National Ports Authority (TPNA) who control all shipping and yacht movements in and out of the port.
Yachts must call "Port Control" on VHF Channel 12 for permission to enter the port and to proceed to an allocated berth. Fly a yellow Q flag and do not leave your boat until cleared by Port Health.
Once cleared by Health, present your documents to the Immigration officer (PSO) for visas to be issued.
Immigration PSO: Patrick Raymond - patrick.raymond@transnet.net
Having completed the SARS documentation online beforehand (see SA Customs for details) contact CTNPortBookings@sars.gov.za to make an appointment for Mossel Bay Customs. Please put name of vessel in the subject of the email to Customs.
Customs: CTNPortEnquiries@sars.gov.za
All yachts leaving the port must first call "Port Control" on VHF Channel 12 and request permission to depart from their allocated berth.
If you are planning to now continue to coastal sail, it is not necessary to visit Immigration and Customs.
If you are planning to depart from South Africa from Mossel Bay, present all documentation to Immigration and Customs authorities as above.
