International Dialing Code for Morocco is +212.

Using a Cell Phone:

The three mobile network operators are Maroc Telecom, Orange, and Inwi.

Coverage is good in towns and cities, and across the west of Morocco, but a little more erratic east and further south.

It's best to buy a local SIM to insert into your unlocked phone for the duration of your stay as international roaming charges are high. SIM cards can be bought from official stores or tobacco stands.

Internet:

The internet in Morocco tends to be slow and overpriced compared to Europe and the USA.

The most well known internet service provider in Morocco is Maroc Telecom.  There is 4G (5G probably coming in 2024) and fibre in most cities and public Wi-Fi spots that charge about 1 euro to connect.

Access is unrestricted and is widely available in business centres, hotels, cafes, restaurants, libraries etc. A one month pre-paid unlimited internet access card for laptops, iPhones and smartphones is available from Maroc Telecom.
