Description:
A popular holiday destination on the west coast, Port Dickson is about 60 NM north of Melaka (Malacca). It is famous for its beaches. This is a great place to stop while sailing the Malacca Straits and a convenient base to tour the wonderful city of Melaka.
Port Dickson is connected through Seremban by the North-South Highway, conveniently linking various states and cities around Peninsular Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
Cruiser Highlights:
There are two marinas here offering berths in sheltered locations, south of the main township of Port Dickson.
Many tourist attractions to explore include an army museum, ostrich farm, lunar observatory, ornamental fish centre, waterfront walk, 3D art galleries, a forest reserve offering wildlife sightings and hiking opportunities and not forgetting local culinary specialities that revolve around seafood.
