Sibu - Provisions & Laundry

Jun 05, 2017

The Central Market is the biggest indoor market in Malaysia. It is home of hundreds of hawker stalls.

The Pasar Malam (Night Market) is situated in the town centre. Local traders will usually set up their mobile stores at around 7pm-11pm.

The Lembongan Market is the place to get a real taste of Sarawak. With its 700 stalls located along the Lembangan River between Mission Road and Channel Road, it is used by the local and upriver villagers and longhouse dwellers, who sell a fascinating range of jungle produce, including flying foxes, squirrels, snakes, turtles, snails, edible jungle fruits and ferns. It is open daily but is most popular at the weekends and public holidays.
