Sandakan - Activities, Attractions & Shopping

Jun 05, 2017

A visit to the Agnes Keith House/Museum provides a view of life in Sandakan in 1930 to post-war. She wrote three very readable books about her life there.

The Sandakan Memorial (the start of the Death Marches) is out of town near the airport but is well established and worth a visit.

The Sandakan Festival is held in June.
