Description:

Puerto del Rosario is the capital of Fuerteventura and the island's largest commercial and passenger port.  It is situated on the eastern side of Fuerteventura and is an attractive old town with narrow streets and traditional houses close to the port.

It is a port of entry/exit and National Police are stationed here.

Yachts are not encouraged to berth here, but are expected to use the marina at Caleta de Fustes.

Entrance Notes and Cautions:

The entrance is clear of any dangers. During the day, the harbour is easily identified by the four large silos on the eastern breakwater,

Yachts are not allowed to moor at either of the harbour quay, but must look for a berth in the fishing harbour, to the northwest.
