This is now a Port of Entry for yachts as of July 2024. The port captain should be contacted on VHF Channel 12 for permission to enter and leave the harbor, as well as when crossing the shipping channel between Saldanha and Langebaan. YachtPortSA Marina and Boatyard report November 2024, that they now have BMA Immigration officials on site for processing yachts, rather than crew having to travel to their offices.
