El Jadida - Clearance

Dec 21, 2018

For complete details on clearing into the country here - see Morocco Formalities.

The Port Captain will most likely know you are coming and will instruct you as to where to anchor. He will notify the Police that you have arrived.

The skipper should go ashore with the passports and ship's papers and visit the Port Captain and Police, all of which are in the harbour area (very little English spoken). Officials are reported to be friendly and formalities straightforward. There does not appear to be a Customs office here.
