Agadir - Clearance

Jan 15, 2024

For full details on clearing into and out of Morocco see noonsite's Morocco Formalities.

Book in advance with the marina via WhatsApp: +212 660412202. The marina will act as your guide/agent for clearance.

Immigration and police are officially on duty 24/7 at the marina, however, if you arrive out of normal working hours you may find opening times are "flexible".

General Process:

It's likely the authorities will come on board shortly after you berth and request originals of your paperwork.

Passports are taken to the main port for stamping--this can take 1-2 hours.

On departure, let officials know you plan to leave at least 12 hours ahead, or the night before if you wish to leave early.

Note: Movement in this port is restricted. If you wish to go for a day-sail and anchor elsewhere, you will need to clear out, and clear back in again on return.

You may be asked if you have a drone. If you do they will hold it in their office until your departure.
