Lautoka (Vuda Point Marina) - Docking

Jan 25, 2025

Marina:

Vuda Marina is the largest marina facility in Fiji and provides 150 inwater berths and over 150 hardstand spaces. It is now serviced by a 63 Tonne Wise Travel Hoist and a 40 Tonne Roodberg Multihull Trailer.

Within Vuda Marina, boats are moored Med-style in a circle. Prepare your lines prior to entering with 2 extra-long stern lines and 2 bow lines. Pass the stern lines to the marina staff in the boat who will attach then to the mooring ball in the center. Give the bowlines to the dock staff who will tie them to rings on the wall. Boats are very close together so put out all the fenders you have.

See more marina details in the business listings at the bottom of the page.

Anchorages:

Fiji Port Authority have issued a notice that the Lautoka Harbour area between the Port and Becana Island are closed to anchoring.

It is possible to anchor outside the Marina entrance channel, however, if there is a swell it may be more comfortable to take shelter at Saweni Bay for the night, which is north of the marina.

Dinghy Dock:

For those utilizing the anchorage, there is a dinghy dock next to the bar-restaurant in the Marina.

Security:

The Marina has 24-hour security.
