Baracoa - Docking

Jul 09, 2018

Entrance to the bay is on the west side of town by the airfield (to starboard as you enter).

There is a commercial dock here (hidden by a large rusting wreck), however, yachts need to anchor.

The bay is very sheltered but is rolly in NE swells. There is good holding in the sand at a depth of about 4m in the southeastern corner of the bay but keep away from the shallows near the shore.

There are plenty of sights here and good hiking.
