Kavieng Hospital and the Dental Clinic are both on the waterfront near the lighthouse. Services are cheap, as would be expected in this part of the world. The hospital is good at treating injuries.
If you need medications, go to City Pharmacy on Djaul Street (in the same building as Hardware Haus) as you can buy most drugs over the counter if you ask nicely, sound like you know what you are talking about, and know what you need. Go to the rear of the store and speak directly with the Pharmacist.
You can purchase Malcurra over the counter for malaria treatment.
