Clearance
For full details on clearing into and out of PNG see Formalities.
Local man Felix is the Customs officer here. He deals with Customs & immigration, however, it tends to be a lucky dip as to whether he is actually there when you arrive. Try phoning him first to let him know you are coming, Tel: 6421155.
There is no quarantine clearance here. The nearest quarantine and customs office is in Alotau, a 1.5-hour boat ride away.
The anchorage is a bit tricky with a strong tidal current at springs.

Docking
The official anchorage is at approximately 10° 36.464′ S, 150° 39.722′ E with depths from 5-13m.
To avoid damaging the fragile reef at low tide, tie your dinghy to one of the piers rather than landing on the beach.

YachtFlags.com offers a discount to Noonsite members.
YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.
