There is a SuperU supermarket five minutes' walk from the bay, just 1.1km from the GBYC. Opens at 09:00 and has fresh baguettes.
There is a store in one of the small roads that lead away from the beach that sells baguettes from 5 am.
There is also a big shopping centre. A free shuttle bus leaves every 10 minutes from right across the sign that says "public beach" in the bay.
