Veli Iz is the main yachting port on the island. It lies on the east coast, about 2nm north of the ferry port of Mali Iz.

This is an interesting port which still has a traditional wooden boat building yard.
Mali Iz is the only other main settlement on the island and is the ferry port with connections to Zadar on the mainland.
