There can be various grades of diesel in Brazil and it is recommended that Petrobas is the best. The cheaper brands are mixed with alcohol and other undesirable substances.

Posto Marina petrol station by small boats harbor 100m north of the Centro Nautico, near Port Captaincy, is a petrol station that also serves cars. The local workboats buy diesel here. Beware of depth at low water. Berthing is alongside black rubber tires. No duty-free fuel is available.

Note that gas refill here is reported to be very expensive, and it may be cheaper to buy yet another bottle of gas.
