Lamen Bay - Activities, Attractions & Shopping
BBQs, guided visits, fishing trips with Douglas (Tasso’s son), boat trips to Lamen island to visit and snorkel with the local dugongs, custom dances for groups of cruisers. Ask at the Yacht Club.
Local arts & crafts. Vanuatu Souvenir DVDs with views of the area are available at Tourism Office and Post Office in Port Vila.
The new annual Traditional Sailing Canoe Race, early August, good fun and a sporting event where yachties are also invited to participate. Attracts more cruisers on their way to other festivals. Held in South West Bay Malekula and North Ambrym.
