Access by air to Tobago is through Crown Point International Airport. Virgin Atlantic, BA, Condor, Delta, Monarch, Caribbean Airlines & Liat. Connections can be made on other carriers via Trinidad.

There is also a daily car ferry service which runs between Tobago and Trinidad (either two and a half hours on the fast Cat service or five and a half hours on the MV Warrior Spirit which transports trucks and heavy cargo).

The fast Cats sail twice a day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and once a day on all other days. Tickets must be brought beforehand either at the Ferry Terminal on Carrington Street in Scarborough or from an authorized dealer. For information: Tel: (+1) 868 639 2181

Tobago does have taxis which can be flagged down if you stand on the side of the road. Always ask the price to your destination before getting in. On the car's license look for H plates or P plates. H plates signify a taxi, P plates are locals who do a taxi service and is the way most locals travel. Basically, you share a car with other people, similar to the Maxi-Taxi system on other islands. A trip to Scarborough from Crown Point should cost no more than $7TT each way per person. A trip to Penny Savers from Crown Point should cost no more than $3TT each way per person.
