Scarborough - Docking

Sep 10, 2024

Anchoring space in the harbour here is extremely limited and holding is poor, so ensure you anchor is well set before leaving the boat.

It is a busy harbour with ferries running back and forth from Trinidad and many local boats.

Only basic facilities are available. There is a water tap (portable) on the pier in town (although a filter is recommended), and it is possible for a yacht to go alongside if the local boats are out.

Many cruisers prefer to anchor in Store Bay, 9NM south.
