The wide entrance leads into an outer basin from which a narrower entrance leads to the inner (older) marina - for smaller yachts.
There is now a new marina basin located in the outer basin called "Nova Marina", which opened in November 2024, for yachts from 25-55m.
The shelter in the inner marina is very good, but in strong southerlies it can be dangerous at the wide harbour entrance.
Be sure to identify the correct entrance as that of the fishing port is close by. There is a large, conspicuous hotel to the E of the marina entrance.
On arrival, berth at the reception pontoon and report to the office.
There is no anchoring in the outer harbour.
