We staid anchored few days in the bay. good protection from the swell. There is a small pontoon outside the harbor that we used for our dinghy. This was very convenient.
The city is very nice and quiet. Public market closed on Monday

Very nice marina, good protection, well maintained facilities. Cheap in wintertime €13,- a day for max 12 meter mono hull. City center is 20 minute walk. Buses to Lisbon and Setubal during the day, weekends less. If you need nautical supplies, go to the shop ‘Nautizimbra’. Good service and fast delivery when out of stock.
