Bonbonon (Negros Island) - Transport & Travel

Jan 01, 2017

Siaton is about 14km away, as is Zambaguita, both are accessible by motorbike.

The road into Bonbonon is only a dirt track but gets better after about a kilometer.

The jeepney leaves Tambobo (the village at the entrance to Bonbonon) early in the morning, goes to Siaton and from there to Dumaguete, returning in the early afternoon.

From the main road 10km from Bonbonon, Ceres buses go to Dumaguete.

It is also possible to get there by hubble-hubble, the motorbike taxi service. Arlene and Boy also rent out motorbikes.

Spike from Tongo Island Resort on the western point at the entrance and Nigel from the boat works nearby, run into Dumaguete on at least Monday and Friday and will take passengers, space permitting, for 200 peso return.
