Foodtown, Pak and Save and Woolworth's all have major large very well stocked supermarkets on Cameron Road within 500 metres of one another. Bin In specializing in self-serve bulk products is located another kilometre further down Cameron Road toward Gate Pa. The Mount also has a Woolworth's and Countdown supermarkets, both located in the Bayfair Mall, and a New World supermarket has a location on Maunganui Road. Fresh produce is available at all the supermarkets as well as City Market located directly downtown Tauranga and also in a Fresh Produce store in Mount Maunganui on Maunganui Rd.
There are several liquor stores nearby, wine is a good deal, rum is very pricey, particularly for those coming from the Caribbean. Mills Reef is a local winery producer that has been winning many international awards, most particularly for their white wines.
