Airports 

Sir Seewoosagur International - 45km from Port Louis. There are daily flights to Paris by Air France and Air Mauritius, frequent flights to London by British Airways. Also frequent flights to La Reunion and Madagascar

Airlines

BA, Cathay Pacific, Dragonair and Air Madagascar all have offices in Caudan Waterfront.

Air Mauritius flies regionally and flies direct to many European countries; their building is on Kennedy Street just through the underpass. In Airlines House opposite there are various airline offices including Air France. Mauritius is also served by Virgin Atlantic.

Buses

Two bus stations, to the north and south of marina, service the north and south of the island respectively.

Taxis

Available from the waterfront complex car park, in front of the hotel or are easily hailed in town. In fact, they will find you if you look even slightly in need of a taxi. They are unlikely to use their meter and will charge what they can get; be firm about setting a price before the start of the journey.

Train

Nothing is left of the British colonial rail network except a rather fine building near Le Suffren Hotel, now used as a car park but with plans to convert to an aquarium.
