There are several possibilities to anchor along the west coast of the atoll, but these are suitable only in prevailing easterly winds.
Otherwise anchor in about 15-20 metre depth about 200 metres from the reef and the entrance to the small boat harbour.
The entrance into the lagoon is narrow with depths of less than two metres.
