Home Island - Provisions & Laundry
There are three small shops located on Home Island. Shop hours are very limited as are fresh fruit and vegetables. Supplies on Home Island are almost on par with West Island, except for alcoholic beverages.

Supermarket – (Shamroks) – Home Island:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0730-1600
- Wednesday 0730-1730
- Saturday 0800-1530
- Sunday 0800-1300
Alcohol is only available from the Cocos Club on West Island. It is open from 1700 every day with an additional opening between approximately 1130 and 1330 on Fridays only.
Hardware Store – Home Island:
- Monday – Friday 0700-1200 and 1300-1500
- Saturday 0700-1100
- Sunday closed

September 2015:
Currently, no quarantine rubbish (i.e.anything not bought in Cocos) is permitted to be disposed of in any of the Cocos islands. Apparently, an incineration facility is planned for the future. Yachts are expected to take their rubbish away with them.
