The delegation of the federal police of San Sebastiao downtown does not receive boats anymore. Skippers must go to the Nucleo Especial da Policia Maritima (NEPON) located inside the commercial port. Their offices are approximately 200m from the ferry terminal on the side of San Sebastiao.
Only the Skipper is permitted to enter with all the necessary documents, however, a second crew member is permitted for translation services if required.
From NEPON to the Captaincy (Prefecture) is a further 400m walk within the port. They have a large building overlooking the ferry terminal.
