Surfing, diving, boat trips and land tours are all popular and available. One of the most popular boat trips is to Baia do Sancho where you can swim and snorkel and the boat will try to spot spinner dolphins who are regular visitors to these waters - you may also see dolphins in the anchorage. Ask the Port Captain who will happily help you organize a trip.
The island, the wildlife and the coastal scenery are a dream.
The most famous bays include the trio of Baia Dos Golfinhos, Baia Do Sancho and Baia Do Porcos to see the small islands of Dois Irmaos. The three are linked by a well-established pathway, but you will need a Marine National Park permit which costs R$373 per person (for foreigners) and is valid for 10 days.
Standing high on the cliffs you can look down into Baia Dos Golfinhos and spot dolphins, turtles and birds. The famous Baia Do Sancho (said to be the most beautiful beach in Brazil) is accessed via a tunnel with a yellow ladder that takes you from the cliff down to the beach. The short walk on to Baia Do Porcos is also recommended.
