The water here is not considered potable unless boiled. It is best to fill up using 20 liter returnable containers. These can be ordered from the local distributor and delivered to the yacht club. He will also collect empty containers.

Buzios is a very nice town with a very good anchorage. Here is where Brigitte Bardot used to hang out with her Brazilian boyfriend. Anchor right in front of the Iate Clube, you can tie your dingy there for free. There are many beaches, restaurants and pausadas. it’s worth spending at least a week here.
