Buzios - Fees

May 31, 2019

Description:

A protected anchorage in what was once a secluded fishing village, but is now more aimed at tourists. It can get noisy in the evenings and crowded with holidaymakers at weekends.

Cruiser Highlights:

The Iate Clube Armação de Búzios (ICAB) is reported to be a quiet, friendly and reasonably priced club and welcomes visiting cruisers.

Entrance Notes and Cautions:

Authorities recommend only using ATMs in a bank and when paying always do with the postnet in sight due to an increase in Credit Card and Debit Card cloning fraud.  The town has an unusually high level of security for a Brazilian town.

Position:

22°45'S, 41°53'W (anchorage).
