Chez Patricia in the north has nice local food and is reasonably priced.
Around the centre there is Paradis Restaurant but you need to book and it is more expensive, however it has nice seafood.
There are also the hotel restaurants like Lomipeau.
Mamys Restaurant is good for local food and there is a chinese restaurant in the south called You You.
There are also a lot of 'Snacks' which are casual eating places which are cheaper, like alizee plage (liku), snack Mahina (hahake) and one in Gahi bay where you can get takeaway or eat there.
There is one bar/night club - Manava - located near the roundabout which has a nice atmosphere.
